Former Chief Superintendent at the Metropolitan Police, Parm Sandhu plays a key role in a major new 6 part Channel 4 series. Starting Tuesday 5th October at 9.30pm the plot of Murder Island has been written by much loved author Ian Rankin and members of the public will compete to solve the crime he has scribed. As amateur detectives they will be led and have to report to Parm and will need their wits about them to keep up with her impressive skills and experience.
A new series of Rip Off Britain starts Monday 4th October on BBC One at 9.15am, hosted by Angela Rippon and Julia Somerville. The highly rated consumer programme returns to tackle viewers stories of bad experiences. Lawyers Gary Rycroft and Ayesha Nayyar also contribute to the programmes with their expertise put to good use.
The release of the new Bond film No Time to Die has seen movie expert James King presenting programmes about the mega franchise. James presented the two part special series for Radio 2, James Bond: Soundtrack Stories, also available on BBC Sounds. He also made two appearances on This Morning to talk about the new release. The long awaited film was accompanied by a special official podcast series, No Time to Die: The Official James Bond podcast which James presented and interviewed all the leading members of the team including Daniel Craig. The Radio 2 and podcast series was well reviewed by national newspapers.
