Congratulations to Paul Brand, Cathy Newman and Alex Thomson, who have been shortlisted as finalists for the 2024 Press Gazette British Journalism Awards.

Paul Brand has been nominated in the Interviewer of the Year category, for his political interviews with Rishi Sunak, Ed Davey and Keir Starmer. Cathy Newman has been nominated in the Tech Journalism category for her piece on Deepfake Pornography for Channel 4. Alex Thomson is nominated alongside Nanette van der Laan for Investigation of the Year for their coverage of the Post Office Scandal for Channel 4 News.

The winners will be announced on 12th December 2024.
