Adam Shaw is one of the most recognisable faces of business journalism on television. He is known for his style of bringing a critical but engaging and imaginative approach to business journalism. He regularly presents ITV’s Tonight programme – Britain’s most watched current affairs series. Adam presents Money Matters, a weekly slot on Jane and Fi’s show for Times Radio where he helps the public better manage their personal finances. He recently featured on the One Show as the ‘Money Doctor’, helping the audience deal with common financial issues.

Adam has presented and reported across television, radio, and digital platforms. He wrote and presented Magic Consultants for Radio 4, a five-part series exploring the consultancy industry, and has fronted many editions of BBC One’s Panorama, investigating major business and economic issues. As Business Presenter on The Today Programme, he interviewed a number of FTSE CEOs and global business leaders. Adam was also a regular presenter on Radio 4’s Money Box Live, a contributor on Channel 4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch Channel 4, and a key face of BBC Two’s Working Lunch. He explored digital innovation in The Internet of Things for CNBC and presented several series of Horizons for BBC World News TV, interviewing figures including Bill Ford and Bill Gates. Other credits include In Business (Radio 4), Wake Up To Money (Radio 5), Business Breakfast (BBC One), and the Woodland Walks podcast, where he interviews celebrities in some of the UK’s most beautiful woods.
Adam has written for a number of newspapers including The Independent, Mail on Sunday and The Metro. Adam has also written and co-authored a number of books including Political Rhubarb, Money and How to Make More of It, Managing Credit, and Investing Basics.
