Huge congratulations to Joan Bakewell who is to be honoured with the BAFTA Television Fellowship in recognition of more than 50 years spent working in the TV industry. She is set to receive the award at the BAFTA Television Awards 2019 on Sunday 12th May.

Joan Bakewell explores classical music between 1953 and 1971, including the first broadcast of the Last Night Of The Proms and Britten's controversial War Requiem on Our Classical Century on Sunday 7th April at 9pm on BBC Four.

Commencing from Monday 25th March, in a four-part special, Joan Bakewell presents Art 50: Sound of Britain, exploring cultural responses to Brexit and national identity through 50 art commissions. Follow the journey on Sky Arts, Monday to Thursday from 9pm.
