Kylie Pentelow presents the ITV national news and is the main presenter for ITV West Country. She recently co-hosted ITVs new medical series, On Call with Dr Ranj. Alongside presenting the programmes, Kylie also investigated medical breakthroughs reporting from locations such as operating theatres and scientific laboratories.
Kylie also hosts ITVs Britain Get Talking podcast where people in the public eye open up about their mental well-being. The conversations are frank and honest - and Kylie's insightful questions allow the guests to talk freely about tragedy, anxiety and difficult times in their lives.
Kylie also regularly reports on ITV’s Tonight and On Assignment programmes.
Other posts include a stint as the US Correspondent for ITV’s breakfast programme - based in New York - where her reports ranged from celebrity news to sampling the world’s most expensive omelette.
Before working at ITV, Kylie was a presenter and reporter at the BBC in the East Midlands as well as working for the Corporation in Oxford, Birmingham, Bristol and on the BBC News Channel.
Kylie’s work has spanned all areas of journalism – from hard-hitting news to celebrity profiles, from studio presentation to live broadcasts. She has interviewed everyone from David Cameron to David Beckham and from Theresa May to Mary Berry. Kylie has an MA in Print Journalism from the University of Sheffield and is a talented writer. Born in Northamptonshire, Kylie has worked her way from regional newspapers to become a well-known face on British TV screens.
Kylie is also an experienced host, having fronted countless events and panels for businesses, community groups, and charities.
In her spare time Kylie is passionate about all thing’s health related - from spin classes to yoga. In fact, she has recently combined her passions by creating a podcast - Yoga Stories - interviewing inspirational people in the yoga world. In the rare moments she’s not working or exercising, you’ll most likely find Kylie listening to music or walking her Chihuahua Audrey.
