As quoted in The Times - Channel 5's approach to making history programmes has improved greatly in recent years and this new series, showing on consecutive nights and exploring the Great Fire of London, is recommended.

The series featured heavily across all of the weekends papers, as the top picks of what to watch this week, including The Daily Telegraph and The Daily Mail, who have dubbed Suzannah Lipscomb and Dan Jones "TV's Coolest Historians".
