Dr Jago Cooper has spent the last 15 years working on a series of exciting archaeological excavations around the world. He is currently working on a series for Channel 4 on Climate and Civilization.

Professor Margaret Cox is an internationally experienced forensic archaeologist/anthropologist who has worked in such places as Rwanda, Kosovo and Cyprus. She was until recently Professor of Forensic Archaeology and Anthropology at Cranfield University and is President of the Inforce Foundation. Her most recent work has been on the Fromelles Project.

Combining history and hands-on archaeology gives Bettany a rich sense of human lives, and has taken her on expeditions across the globe. With degrees in Ancient and Modern history she puts the present in context. Her series The Seven Ages of Britain for Channel 4 investigated the physical evidence of ordinary lives (forget kings and queens – this was the story of US) from the Ice Age through to the Industrial Revolution.

    Julian Richards is a presenter on television and radio, a writer and an archaeologist with over 30 years experience of fieldwork and publication. Julian has presented five series of the popular Meet the Ancestors (BBC 2) and the five part Blood of the Vikings (BBC 2) for both of which he wrote accompanying books.
