Highly experienced newscaster Nina Hossain will join Donal MacIntyre as a main presenter of ITV London Tonight from Thursday 24th June 2010. The role will see Nina co-anchoring ITV London bulletins, presenting the capital’s main stories of the day and conducting exclusive interviews with high-profile figures and celebrities. In addition, Nina will also continue to present a number of national news bulletins for ITV News.

On her appointment, Nina said: “Having spent several happy years working for ITN, I’m delighted to join ITV London Tonight as a main newscaster. I’ve already presented a number of programmes with Donal and look forward to us being the news team that up to a million Londoners see in their living rooms every night.” Faye Nickolds, Editor of ITV London Tonight, added: “While we’re very sad to see Katie leave London Tonight, it’s fantastic to have an impressive successor in Nina. Nina has been a hit among London audiences for almost a decade and will work well beside Donal MacIntyre to deliver the stories that really matter to Londoners.”
