Charlie McArdle

Charlie is a confident, intelligent, focused and quick-witted presenter with a warm and engaging personality. Professional and highly experienced he has superb live studio, location filming and OB skills and is an accomplished interviewer who’s relaxed and friendly style enables him to get the best out of his guests.

Most recently he has been making a name for him self fronting Make Your Play on ITV1 where his humour and unique style has not gone unnoticed. He also fronted two series of Search for a Presenter a reality show where wannabee presenters compete to front their own show.

Charlie has presented for the BBC, ITV, FIVE and SKY and gained experience presenting news, factual entertainment, lifestyle and light entertainment programmes. He’s not the type to sit in front of the camera and let the scriptwriters make him look good. When it comes to presenting Charlie is extremely diligent and gets involved with producing.

As an experienced corporate presenter with a natural ability to hold an audience, his clients include Barclays, Peugeot, T-Mobile, Curry’s, New Look and the Cooperative society to name but a few. He has presented a number of live road shows including Taste for Life, a "Ready Steady Cook" style show, and Style Challenge.

It's not all work and no play though. Charlie has a love of the theatre and music, Other interests include regular trips to the gym, computers, television and all the latest gadgets. DIY and design, cooking, entertaining, writing and travel are major passions along with scuba diving.

Charlie also chairs conferences and seminars and is a conference facilitator and after dinner speaker as well as a host of events and award ceremonies, both at home and abroad.
