James King

James is a film critic and currently reviews films on ITV's London Tonight every Friday. Until recently he could be seen presenting The Movie Show on ITV2. Before that, James was the voice of film on Radio One, reviewing the latest movies and DVDs with Greg James and Edith Bowman. He has appeared as the resident movie expert on Sky One's Angela And Friends and also presented the Early Breakfast show, Bank Holiday soundtrack specials and several all-night Oscar programmes. His work on Radio One was nominated for a prestigious Sony Award in 2004.

James has also been one of the judges at Virgin Media Short Films Competition for the last three years.

James can be seen talking cinema regularly on ITV1's London Tonight. He is also a regular face on film documentaries, including The 100 Greatest Films, The 100 Greatest Music Videos, The Real Winona Ryder and Shawshank: The Redeeming Feature (all C4); Best Ever Bond (ITV1); 20 Best Movie Love Scenes (Five) and Celebrity Mingers (Sky One).

James has appeared as a film expert on shows as varied as Richard & Judy (C4), The Daily Politics (BBC2) and BBC Breakfast News (BBC1) reviewing Star Wars.

He also regularly hosts press conferences and audience Q & A sessions with film-makers and actors, most recently Steven Spielberg, Will Smith and the cast of X-Men at the Cannes Film Festival.

James has a cameo role in the straight-to-DVD horror movie Freakout!.

James has a wealth of experience hosting events and award ceremonies, both at home and abroad.
